What is First Aid Training Online?
First Aid Training Online is a nationally recognised course delivery method that allows you to complete your theory and practical assessments from home. It’s ideal for busy professionals and remote learners.
How does the practical assessment work in an online first aid course?
For our hybrid option, you’ll attend a shortened practical session at one of our training centers after completing the online theory. For our 100% online option, you’ll demonstrate skills via Zoom with our qualified trainers who will assess your technique and provide feedback in real-time.
How long does it take to complete an online first aid course?
The online theory component typically takes 2-4 hours, depending on your learning pace. For hybrid courses, you’ll then attend a 2-hour practical session. Our 100% online course includes a 2-hour live Zoom session for demonstration and assessment.
Can I get same-day certification with an online first aid course?
Yes! Upon successful completion of your online first aid training, you’ll receive your digital certificate either same-day or within 24 hours (subject to verification of all required documentation and completion by 3pm).
What equipment do I need for an online first aid class?
You’ll need a computer or tablet with internet access, a webcam, and audio capabilities. For the 100% online option, you’ll also need enough space to demonstrate skills such as recovery position and CPR techniques during your Zoom session.
How long is my online first aid certification valid?
Your first aid certification (HLTAID011) is valid for 36 months (3 years), while the CPR component (HLTAID009) should be refreshed annually to stay current with the latest guidelines.
Is an online 1st aid course right for me?
Online first aid training is ideal if you:
